The Worst Marijuana Dispensaries In Phoenix

By Kevin Ward

A dispensary refers to a store that dispenses medical supplies such as medicines and medical equipment to members of the public. The dispensation is often done by a drug specialist, usually a pharmacist who follows prescriptions made by a doctor or other medical practitioners. When talking about marijuana dispensary, these are dispensaries that dispense various products of marijuana to the public. Marijuana dispensaries in Phoenix are located in several locations, making them easy to access.

The first dispensary to be established in the US for the sole purpose of selling and supplying cannabis was set up in early years of 1990s in San Francisco. Dennis Peron was the individual responsible for opening the facility. It was set up as a San Francisco Cannabis Buyers Club. The public received it with applause while the government made it very hard for it to operate. Over the years, laws have loosened and the club has set an example for similar establishments to come up.

There are two kinds of stores that sell cannabis, that is, recreational and medical marijuana dispensaries. Medical versions of the stores mostly serve people whose medical conditions require them to use cannabis. Sellers follow prescriptions to make the sale.

In medical cannabis stores, it is a requirement for buyers to show their identity documents before making a purchase. All products and preparations of cannabis can be found in the stores including leaves, flowers, stems, buds, and roots. These products are available in various forms such as liquids, vapor, fresh parts, roasted parts, and steamed parts among others. If one has a prescription, they can buy whatever they want. However, those without prescription documents from doctors may buy flowers only.

To buy cannabis from a recreational store, one may be asked for some identification document such as driving license or greed card. Only persons aged above 21 are allowed to enter or buy anything in the store. Whatever products are made available are also restricted by laws. Flowers of cannabis are the main commonly available products. In some jurisdictions, the businesses are not allowed to operate beyond seven in the evening.

Recreational stores may have armed guards at the entrance in some places. These businesses are often operated as cash businesses because many banks are often hesitant to take their money. This has something to do with the fact that cannabis has not been federally approved in the United States. In most states where it is approved, state laws require the shops to be installed with security cameras for monitoring the activities of buyers and sellers.

Some facilities have menus of various preparations from which clients are required to choose. More than 20 different preparations of cannabis exist. Attendants are usually readily available to offer assistance. Indica and sativa are the two key classes of cannabis. A hybrid of the two varieties is also coming up strongly as a class on its own.

The cost depends on the kind of preparation one buys. Some preparations cost much higher than others. The state one is located in may also determine the cost. There are debates to have the product federally legalized because of the economic advantages associated with it.
